Golf

The scenery of golfing in Marrakesh is quite unique. You can enjoy golf in the midst of palm groves with a fairytale view of the snow-capped Atlas.

Golf was first played in Marrakesh eighty years ago and today the Moroccan city has several golf courses, making it a popular destination for golfing holidays.

The Marrakesh Royal Golf Club is the oldest golf. Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and Ike Eisenhower have all played here.

Shopping

The traditional souks, the specialist antique shops or the traditional countryside markets can provide you with good shopping opportunities. The Medina of Marrakesh has a good representation of the Moroccan traditional craft: wood, work, rugs, slippers, pottery, fabrics, jewellery, antique arms and house linens.
